Finluca Life & Health Insurance Advisers is run by Jason Clark who has worked in insurance for nearly 20 years. Much of this time was spent in Africa where he ran his own business looking after the insurance needs of the many expats living there, and in Asia and South America. Jason is a former financial planner which has given him a solid understanding of how best to protect clients and their hard-earned assets. With experience in these areas, and since business, finance and insurance advice often overlap, Jason works closely with your other professional advisers whether it be your lawyer, accountant and financial planner so all aspects of structure, ownership & taxation are considered when providing recommendations on insurance. Jason was born and raised in Dunedin, where he lives with his partner and two young children. Apart from family time, outside of the office Jason has hung up his squash racquet and is now a keen mountain biker – he gets on the bike first thing most mornings.
Amy Jarvie – Office Manager
Amy originates from Invercargill having relocated to Dunedin in 2005 with her family after living a number of years in the Southern Lakes region. She is an active mother of three and enjoys a healthy balance of family, sport and working life.Amy joined Finluca in October 2013 as a highly experienced Office Manager, having worked for the Department for Courts for 11 years in many challenging and diverse roles including the overall day-to-day management of the Queenstown District Court for five years.Amy prides herself on strong customer focus and the ability to multi-task, ensuring she sees projects through to successful conclusion.In 2017 Amy moved into the role of Personal Assistant/Office Manager at Finluca reporting directly to Jason. Amy is responsible for the management of existing clients’ policies, processing new business, responding to client queries and ensuring client files are in order, which is crucial for effective business operation.
